Hey, I know I am not currently a great fan of CP+B and their somewhat infantile approach to advertising, about how they unceasingly seem to home in on that “UberDemoGraphic!” The 18 to 34 year old wankers who have nothing else to spend their minimum wage, burger flipping, hard earned cash on than video games and “Big-Knocker” MySpace porn… ARRRGH… I’ll be OK in a minute after the next G&T… But even I was put aback to read in today’s AdWeek that CP+B has been obliged to pull its latest VW spot, ‘cos the anti-suicide brigade was all over their case and has actually forced VW to pull the spot featuring some numb-nut contemplating suicide by jumping of a building until he discovers he can get a really bad car for under $17,000.
